~06

TUESDAY

FEBRUARY 24, '959

At the request of the City Manager, Council authorized him and other city

officials to proceed with negotiations necessary to acquire right-of-way and

easements for the proposed Indian Trail sewer line (from the new Druid Hills

School to the east of Lake Lanier). Councilman Brown abstained from voting

on this matter because of his interest in the firm owning property involved;

however, as a property owner, Mt-. Brown informed Council that he will make

no charge for easements over his property upon the condition that the City

replace the earth disturbed for the laying of the sewer line and that the City

compensate his firm for certain beech trees destroyed.

A request from Mr-. A. L. Schilbe for additional compensation as City motor

vehicle license agent was continued to next meeting's agenda.

Council was adjourned.

.", \;
-' '~ . l' ;.; "'" l"......
