Shultz presiding, vas held in the Council Chamber, <br />City Hall, Tuesday, May 27, 1958, at 7:30 P.M., all members being present, <br />as follovs: Mayor and Councilman John W. Shultz, Vice-Mayor and Councilman <br />E. E. Stone; and Councilmen C. C. Donavant, B. H. Hill, and J. R. Walker. <br /> <br />After the invocation, Council approved. as read the minutes of its regular <br /> <br />meeting held May 13, 1958. <br /> <br />Arter the presentation by' City Manager Hirst of certain information requested <br />by Council in connection with the audit of the City's accounts and records for <br />the current fiscal year, Council ordered an executive session immediately following <br />the meeting herein covered by these minutes to select the auditing firm for the <br />conducting of the audit, in which session Council selected the firm of Alexander <br /> <br />Grant & Company. <br /> <br />Upon receipt of the following report and findings of the Board ot Viewers (Messrs. <br />I. M. Qroves, I. W. Ramsey, and J. R. Troxler) appointed by Council May 13, 1958 <br />to determine if any inconvenience will be caused abutting property owners should <br /> <br />a portion of Sunset Drive be closed, as requested by George's, Inc., Council <br /> <br />accepted the report and by resolution directed the Clerk of Council to request <br />the City Circuit Court to mark its appropriate records 8vacated" and/or <br /> <br />aabandoned" : <br /> <br />Your undersigned three viewers appointed by' the Council of the City <br />of Martinsville, Virginia to view the proposed abandonment of that <br />portion of a certain Street in the CitY', more particularly described <br />as follows: <br />
