<br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />AUGUST 27, 1957 <br /> <br />(Form of Registration Provision) <br /> <br />The vrithin bond has beon registered <br />as to principal only, as follows: <br /> <br />Date of <br />Registration <br /> <br />In Yfuose Nare <br />Registered <br /> <br />City <br />Treasurer <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />(6) The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to provide <br />a book or books for the registration of said bonds, and to carry out the <br />provisions set forth in said bonds for the registration and transfer of <br />said bonds. <br /> <br />('n There shall be raised annually by tax upon all taxable property <br />of the City of Martinsville a sum sufficient to pay the principal of and <br />interest on said bonds as such principal and interest become due. <br /> <br />City Manager Hirst presented for Council's consideration certain recorrrrnended <br /> <br />changes in the CivJ's Subdivision Ordinance, dealing with administrative procedures <br /> <br />and responsibilities, extensions of utility lines on existing streets inside the <br /> <br />corporate limits, and the separation by separate ordinance subdivision controls <br /> <br />applicable to residential areas outside the corporate limits. Council continued <br /> <br />these matters for further study. <br /> <br />Council unanimously denied the August 13th petition submitted by Mr. Rives S. <br /> <br />BrO'wn, Jr., on behalf of Lanier Farm, Inc., requesting permission to connect to <br /> <br />the City1s water system outside the corporate limits without being required to <br /> <br />comply with the City's Subdivision Ordinance. <br />
