<br />254 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />m-;C8HBEH 27. 1 960 <br /> <br />Council approved for execution by City officials a power line crossing <br /> <br />agreement wIth the Norfolk & Hestern Raihray Company which would replace <br /> <br />a similar agr~ement in force to Dermit the relocation of a City electric <br /> <br />utility lin~ crossing the Norfolk & Western right-of-~~y at Starling Avenue. <br /> <br />Council suggested that a study be made dealing ~.,i th the advantages and d-Ls- <br /> <br />advantages, as well as the cost, of installing additional nedestrian cross- <br /> <br />walks at various intersecUons along Church Street, particularly at Broad <br /> <br />Street; however, Council indicated that it does not want to interrupt the <br /> <br />present flo,., of traffic along Church Street by the installat10n of additional <br /> <br />cros s-vralks . <br /> <br />CotUlcil took no action on a suggestion that twelve-minute parking meters be <br /> <br />installen along East ~~in Street opposite the ABC store, such meters to <br /> <br />replace present sixty-minute meters. <br /> <br />Council t:Jok no action, either, towards interfering w-1th procedures now in <br /> <br />orocess tOlmrds acquiring right-of-vray from l~s.
