<br />1~ <br /> <br />JUNE 28, 1960 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />City Manager Hirst reported that preliminary conferences are under way with lee <br />Telephone CompaIV officials towards preparation of a new f'ranchise to replace the <br />present thirty-year telephone company franchise which will expire August 12, 1960. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly- seconded and unanimously carried, Council accepted dedications <br />(by deeds) of rights-of-way, at no cost to the City, as follows: <br />(a) from Lester Lumber CompaDiY -- approximate~ 187.5 square feet at the <br />connection of Northside Drive with Dudley street; and <br />(b) from Robert S. Martin and wife, Virginia p. Martin - a 750-square- <br />foot triangle at lower end of Mountain Road. <br /> <br />Council recognized the presence of Dr. Fred T. Renick and Mt-.
