DeShazo, upon motion, <br /> <br />duly seconded and lL.'1.animously carried of those voting (COlli'1cilman Wilson <br /> <br /> <br />disqualifying himself), COl1ncil denied the petition requesting the closing <br /> <br />.~,.-.... <br /> <br />and vacating thereof and, also, C01ID.cil ordered that the street right-of-viclY <br /> <br />and its present condition be retained "as is": <br /> <br />We, the undersigned met on June 26th and ca..'T!le to the following <br />deeision regarding Zee Street from Jefferson Road on the north to <br />Jefferson Road on the south, according to map prepared by Thomas <br />S. 1100re, C. L. S. - Hay 9, 1938: <br /> <br />1st. - That Zeo Street be changed from Zee Street to <br />Zee Alley. <br /> <br />2nd. - That a portion of Zee Street 20 feet ,,/ide to <br />remain open for traffic and the public in any <br />way they wish to use it as a public thoroughfare. <br /> <br />3rd. - That the land on each side of the alley revert to <br />the adjoining property ovmers. <br /> <br />4th. - That the corner lots on Jefferson Road affected by <br />this closing have a reduction in their taxes <br />comi"l.ensurate with the difference between a corner <br />lot facing a street and one facing an alley. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted to the Council as a recor'In.endation. <br /> <br />Yours truly, <br /> <br />E.
