Section 3. Territorial Area Involved. The area to which the franchise relates includes future as well as present territorial limits of the city. ,r- Section 4. Natural Gas. Natural gas as is distributed by the grantee is to be furnished in its natural state, with exception as noted in Section 5 of this ordinance, without mixture of air or the abstraction of any natural element, or adulteration, and at the heat value and pressure hereinafter set forth, at the consumer's meter, subject, however, to the removal of oil, gasoline vapors, helium and other hydrocarbons. ;- Section 5. Obligation of Grantee to Furnish Natural Gas. The grantee will deliver to and distribute for the use of the inhabitants within the city, during the period of this franchise, and providing there is a demand for same, not less than one million, five hundred thousand cubic feet per day of natural gas of the heating value and pressure herein elsewhere defined unless the Federal power Commission or other regulatory body having jurisdiction and authority to do so shall reduce the allocation of natural gas to the grantee for distribution in the city. In the event such allocation is SO reduced then the grantee will deliver to and distribute within the city for the use of the inhabitants thereof the maximum quantity pos sible under the reduced or altered cir- cum stances. In the event the grantee should file or make application to the Federal power Commission, or other regulatory body having jurisdiction, for a reduction in allocation of natural gas to the grantee for distribution in the city, the grantee shall - simultaneously with such filing or application give written notice to the city council of s uc h action and purpos c . The grantee shall, during the period of the franchise as granted under this ordinance, forward to the city manager of the city a copy of each report submitted by the grantee - 3 - -
