<br />lines. Neither shall the grantee permit any such street, sidewalk or public place, so <br /> <br />opened, disturbed or encumbered by it in the installation I construction I or repair of its <br /> <br />lines, to remain open or the public way disturbed or encumbered for a longer period of time <br /> <br />. ""han shall be reasonably necessary in the opinion of the director of public works, or other <br /> <br />tlroper official of the city. In all cases where any street or public place shall be excavated, <br /> <br />disturbed or encumbered by the grantee , the grantee shall take all precautions necessary or <br /> <br />proper for the protection of the public and shall maintain adequate warning signs I barricades, <br /> <br />signals, and other devices necessary or proper to give adequate notice and warning to the <br /> <br />public of the existence of all actual conditions present. <br /> <br />(4) Whenever the city shall widen, reconstruct I realign, pave or repave any <br /> <br />street or public place, or shall change the grade or line of any street or public place or <br /> <br />shall construct or reconstruct any conduit, water main, sewer or water connection, or other <br /> <br />municipal works or utility, it shall be the duty of the grantee, when so requested by the <br /> <br />-:ity, to change its lines, services, and other property in the streets or public places at its <br /> <br />own expense so as to conform to the new widening, location alignment or grade of such <br /> <br />street or public place and so as not to interfere with the conduits, sewers I and other mains <br /> <br />as constructed or reconstructed. Upon written notice by the city of its intended work, <br /> <br />above specified, the grantee shall within a reasonable period of time accomplish its <br /> <br />obligation in accordance with and to conform to the plans of the city for such construction, <br /> <br />reconstruction or improvements. The grantee shall be required to remove antenna television <br /> <br />lines, whether above or belOW the ground elevation, when the street or public ground in <br /> <br />which they are located is vacated by formal action of the city council for the convenience <br /> <br />of abutting property owners, with such removal to be t;ompleted not later than sixty days <br /> <br />following such action of vacation. <br /> <br />Subsection c. Temporary Removal of Wire for Building Moving. <br /> <br />The grantee, on the request of any person holding a building moving permit <br /> <br />issued by the city, shall temporarily raise or lower its wires to permit the moving of build- <br /> <br />ings. The expense of such temporary removal, raising or lowering of wires shall be paid <br /> <br />the the grantee by the person requesting the same, and the grantee shall have the authority <br /> <br />to require such payment in advance. The grantee shall be given not less than forty-eight <br /> <br />..ours advance notice to arrange for such temporary wire changes. <br /> <br />5-b <br />
