Council unanimously authorized such subscription, at a

cost of $125.00.

Mr. W. R. Broaddus, III, Attorney at Law, who appeared earlier during this

meeting as counsel for W. M. Bassett Furniture Company and its property

rezoning petition, compared the restrictions placed on "M-3 Industrial'1 zoning

districts--as would be applicable to his clientrs development--with lesser

restrictions under l1M-2 Industrial'1 zoning. Mr. Broaddus further indicated

that his client might wish later to request an l1M-21classification for property
now proposed to be rezoned to "M-3".

Dr. Charles J. Mathes, Director of the local Health Department, pointed out

to Council the need for directional signs in the area of the local Health

"_,,o.=,_,"'___...............,,;'".~;;.,~'"-_.....,...~"''';~'''., ,
