Renick Vice-Mayor, called Council's attention to the dangers <br /> <br />and hazards resulting from children riding bicycles, posing the possibility <br /> <br />of requiring bicycles to be licensed and suggesting that study be given to <br /> <br />ways and means to reduce these dangers and hazards. Police Chief Bolejack <br /> <br />informed Council that, through literature, safety instructions are given to <br /> <br />school children each year but--that with the number of unidentified stolen <br /> <br />bicycles recovered by the Police Department--licensing of bicycles would be <br /> <br />of assistance in returning them to their owners. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk of Council <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />- <br />
