<br />4:1 <br /> <br />~.t~" <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />JUNE 22, 1965 <br /> <br /><,-, <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council directed that <br /> <br />Lester Lumber Company, Inc., be refunded sewer service charges assessed <br /> <br />against this firm--and paid by same--for water furnished on an emergency <br /> <br />basis for the period January 8, 1965 to April 21, 1965, said refund being <br />$658.34 in total. <br /> <br />-",- <br /> <br />By letter from Mr. Roy E. Frith, President of Forest Park Country Club, the <br /> <br />Board of Directors of this Club requested permission to connect its clubhouse <br /> <br />(which is outside the City's corporate limits) to the City's sewerage system, <br /> <br /> <br />agreeing to comply with City tariffs and regulations if permission is granted <br /> <br /> <br />and if the City's charge therefor be based on only that water (from the Club's <br /> <br /> <br />private source of supply, which would be metered) used by the clubhouse. City <br /> <br /> <br />Manager Hirst informed Council that the Planning Commission is giving study to <br /> <br /> <br />this request as it relates to zoning regulations; whereupon Council deferred <br /> <br /> <br />action pending completion by the Planning Commission of its study. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council agreed to an exchange <br /> <br />of small tracts of property with Mr. Avery B. Mills on the northwest side of <br /> <br /> <br />East Church Street, near the County-City Laundry and across from the new Patrick <br /> <br /> <br />Henry Mall (Shopping Center). This exchange, consisting of City-owned 286 square feet <br /> <br />for Mr. Mills' 246 square feet, would realign right-of-way to mutual advantage at <br /> <br />this point. <br /> <br />City Manager Hirst informed Council that recently the City issued a building permit <br /> <br /> <br />to Mr. Strother Fulcher for construction of a gasoline service station on the south <br /> <br /> <br />side of Memorial Boulevard North, near Modern Furniture Company's store on Route 220 <br /> <br />North, which permit was issued on the basis of an out-dated map as this map relates <br /> <br />to right-of-way, resulting in a violation of set-back regulations now in force. <br /> <br />Although the Council suggested an exchange of property with Mr. Fulcher (1,141 <br /> <br />square feet for 916 square feet) to realign the right-of-way, Mr. Fulcher requested <br />
