Renick requested the rezoning of <br /> <br />his property at 412 East Church Street from flresidential" to np-1 Professionalfl, <br /> <br />or the same classification now being sought by Doctors Toms and Adams for their <br /> <br />property located to the rear of Dr. Renick's property and on which a public <br /> <br />hearing has been scheduled by Council for its forthcoming December 22nd meeting. <br /> <br />Council referred Dr. Renick's petition to the Planning Commission for its <br /> <br />consideration and recommendation. <br /> <br />Council acknowledged receipt of the 1964 edition of the National Safety Council's <br /> <br />flAnnual Traffic Inventory". <br /> <br />/-\ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Upon being advised that the City has had possession during 1964 (through right-of- <br /> <br /> <br />entry) of a tract of land owned by J. D. Hairston, et aI, which tract was acquired <br /> <br /> <br />by payment dated November 20, 1964, and on which 1964 real estate taxes have been <br /> <br />paid by the owner(s), Council unanimously directed that the owner(s) be refunded <br /> <br /> <br />the sum of '$32.38, being the amount of taxes paid on said tract which was involved <br /> <br />in the reconstruction of Route 58. <br />
