;2

TUESDAY

APRIL 14. 1964

was Council's intent to permit residential side-yard set-back requirements

of the former Zoning Code to apply to existing residential lots which have

been duly sub-divided and recorded and that the requirements of the new

Code would apply to lots not so sub-divided and recorded as of date of

enactment. After some discussion and after hearing from Mr. Finney and

his associates--who stated that a number of lots owned by them are not of

sufficient width to permit the building of marketable residences under the

new side-yard set-back requirements--Council directed that the side-yard

requirements as 1..Jere in force under the former Zoning Code shall be

applicable to residential lots (prop8rly subdivided and duly recorded)

whose widths are no more than sixty (60) feet. This directive, Council

ordered, should be made a part of and reflected in the new Zoning Code

in the process of being published.

Council was adjourned.

\

w .l~7~~~~~', -Clerk of Council
