Frank Wilson presiding and with all members present <br /> <br />(viz., Mayor J. Frank Wilson; Vice-Mayor Fred T. Renick; Thomas J. Burch; <br />E. E. Stone; and Harry L. Boaz), was held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, <br />Tuesday, July 31, 1962, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />After the invocation, Council approved as recorded the minutes of its regular <br /> <br />meeting held July 10, 1962. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seoo nded and unanimously carried, Council approved the fOllowing <br /> <br />projects-for curb and gutter and/or sidewalk construction-for the fiscal year <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1963: <br />Franklin 'street (sidewalk) <br /> <br />.................................... <br /> <br />620 feet <br /> <br />Spruce street - Indian Trail to Prospect Hill Drive ............3,118 " <br /> <br />First Street - Fayette to end of street ........................2,096 " <br /> <br />Armstead 'Street (sidewalk) Community Hospital .................. 240 " <br /> <br />Clarke Road - Sam Iaons to Sherwood Place ......................2,000 " <br /> <br />Mulberry Road - Sheraton Court to south ........................2,560 " <br /> <br />Sa~ Lions Trail - Mulberry to Beechnut .........................2,020 <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Broad Street (Sidewalk replacement) <br /> <br />. ................. ..... ..... <br /> <br />250 " <br /> <br />Total .............. 12,904 " <br /> <br />Note: <br /> <br />M:oci.ne Road - Yorkshire Road to Carver Court 'Will serve as alternate <br />if First Street project should not succeed. <br /> <br />Cherokee Court 'Will serve as a1 ternate to other projects if any not <br />successful. If all are built, then Cherokee Court to <br />be first project in 1963-64 fiscal year. <br />
