<br />;$70 <br /> <br />MONDAY <br /> <br />DECEMBER 30. 1968 <br /> <br />It is also recommended that the granting of this special use permit be <br />contingent upon the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The completion and presentation of four copies of a final plan to <br />the Agent of the Planning Commission, which plan shall be acceptable <br />to the Public Works Director of the City and to the Traffic & <br />Planning Director. <br />2. That the easement of access with the School Board be clarified in <br />order that the easement shall run with the land and be granted to <br />the total development rather than to each individual use. <br /> <br />As a matter of information, the Commission wishes to advise Council that <br />it has granted conditional approval to the subdivision as such created <br />for the purpose of selling certain property to a group of Doctors, <br />conditioned upon the final execution of a contract between the City of <br />Martinsville and Martinsville General Hospital with regard to utilities <br />to serve the proposed Doctors' office building and the Hospital. <br /> <br />The Commission wishes to state here for the record that it has granted <br />final approval to the following portion of the plan as presented; the <br />location of the Hospital itself and the Doctors' office building with <br />the necessary service driveways to serve the two buildings in question. <br />It is not intended that any approval whatsoever be granted at this <br />time to: <br /> <br />1. Any streets which may be indicated on the map as outside the <br />boundary of the Hospital property itself. <br />2. Any service drives, uses, parking areas or other buildings shown <br />on the overall plan other than the Hospital itself and the Doctors' <br />building indicated to be built immediately and the d~ives and <br />parking areas to serve these two bUildings. <br /> <br />In view of the verbal submission to Council at its meeting on Monday <br />evening, December 30, 1968, by the Chairman of the Planning COmmBsion <br />of the above recommendation and Council's subsequent acceptance and <br />approval of this verbal submission, this letter serves to formalize <br />this action. <br /> <br />Inasmuch as the sale of the City's $.3,900,000 General Improvement Bonds remains <br /> <br />pending, and inasmuch as notes representing temporary financing of capital <br /> <br />improvements--for which the bonds have been authorized--become due December 31, <br /> <br />1968, Council authorized the renewal of said notes for the period ending <br /> <br />April 30, 1969, by means of the following resolution: <br />
