<br />} U' 'l <br />) 1., <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />MAY 14. 1968 <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded, Council unanimously reappointed Mr. James R. <br /> <br />English to membership on the City School Board for a three-year term <br /> <br />beginning July 1, 1968, meanwhile expressing appreciation to him for his <br /> <br />valuable services in this capacity in the past. <br /> <br />Mr. Willie M. Reynolds and other residents (property owners), of the 200- <br /> <br />block of the north part of Fourth Street, appeared before Council on <br /> <br />behalf of their filed petition (of several years) for construction of <br /> <br />curb-and-gutter along this section of Fourth Street, being some 360 feet <br /> <br />in length. Council informed these citizens that careful review of the <br /> <br />petition would be given in the near future and that, unless for unforeseen <br /> <br />reasons or conditions making this project ineligible, it is hoped that <br /> <br />construction can be authorized for inclusion in the 1968-69 program. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />"\ <br />w. ~:~~~cle~ of Council <br />~- <br />
