Nease and other local businessmen, representing the area adjacent <br /> <br />to or in the vicinity of the City's Fayette Street Parking Lot, appeared before <br /> <br />Council with a petition requesting continued operation of this lot by the City <br /> <br />as in the past, i.e., providing parking meters, thus expressing opposition by <br /> <br />these businessmen to the anticipated request of local "Park-&-Shop" representa- <br /> <br />tives that the City remove the parking meters on this lot and make the lot <br /> <br />available to the llPark-&-Shop" group. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />"^. --.........-"'.~" "~<'-',~ <br />W.
