Card, Sr., as Chief of Police, effective August 1, 1972, succeeding Mr. <br /> <br />Jesse W. Williams. <br /> <br />..- <br /> <br />Councilman W. Donald Hartford reported that his' Highway Safety Committee on <br /> <br />August 7th conducted another survey of conditions and hazards existing at vaious <br /> <br />street intersections, noting that--although some progress has been made since <br /> <br />prior inspections--some hazardous conditions still exist and that a continuing <br /> <br />effort is being made to eliminate such conditions. <br /> <br />As hereinbefore indicated, Council unanimously convened into an Executive <br /> <br />Session to consider nominees for membership from the City on the Regional Library <br /> <br />Board, following which Session Council reconvened into regular session and made <br /> <br />the appointments hereinbefore named. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />W. <br /> <br /> <br />of Council <br /> <br />- <br />
