Greene, Realtor, filed <br /> <br />with Council a petition requesting the rezoning (from lR_9" to lR_6") and <br /> <br />the subdividing of a 3~-acre tract of land situated approximately 600 feet <br /> <br />east of Brookdale Road, to the rear of Cooper & Ratcliff Supermarket, on <br /> <br />which tract petitioner proposes to construct a Nursing Home. Council <br /> <br />referred this petition to the Planning Commission for its consideration and <br /> <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Council also referred to the Planning Commission, for its consideration and <br /> <br />recommendation, a petition filed by Mr. Victor A. Lester, requesting the <br /> <br />rezoning of property identified as "Lot No. 1" fronting East Church Street <br /> <br />from lR_9" to "P-211; and, the rezoning of property identified as "Lot No. 2" <br /> <br />fronting East Church Street Extended from IIR-911 to "R-611, both lots being <br /> <br />so identified on petitioner's Revision Plat' marked with Planning Commission's <br /> <br />IIFinal Approvalll under date of May 4, 1971. <br /> <br />In connection with Deed of Gift accepted April 27, 1971 by the Council from <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Victor A. Lester, conveying a tract of land situated at the <br /> <br /> <br />northeast corner of Mulberry and Finley Streets, Council approved and <br /> <br />accepted a revision of said deed whereby said tract will be identified as <br /> <br />the IIVictor A.
