<br />After receiving the following sealed bids submitted as a result of the City1s
<br />
<br />advertised invitation to bidders, Council requested an analysis of said bids
<br />
<br />from City Manager Noland for presentation at Council's next regular meeting:
<br />
<br />(1) Parcel "A" - 2.9 acres, being part of former incinerator tract
<br />on west side of Route 706 -
<br />(a) P & P Supply Company - bid of $7,001.00;
<br />
<br />(2) Parcel "B" - 0.41 acre, being part of former incinerator tract
<br />on east side of Route 706 -
<br />(a) Frost & Company, Inc. - bid of $1,820.00 with $820.00
<br />"down" and remainder payable six months and twelve
<br />months, equal installments, at 8% interest per annum;
<br />(b) T. H. Dandridge - bid of $1,030.00; and
<br />
<br />(3) Parcel "c" - 0.46 acre, being part of former incinerator tract on
<br />east side of Route 706 -
<br />(a) P & P Supply Company - bid of $1,251.00.
<br />
<br />In considering the request of Mr. Ben White, representative of Triangle
<br />
<br />Development, Johnson City, Tennessee, as referred by Council on June 16th,
<br />
<br />the Planning Commission submitted the following report and recommendation
<br />
