Y~a~~ Clerk of Council ADDENDUM BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular session held on June 25, 1974, that Section 6-37 of the Martinsville City Code be amended by adding thereto at the end thereof the following additional paragraphs: Person. The word "personll shall include individuals, firms, partnerships, associations, corporations and combinations of individuals of whatsoever form and character. Residential User. The term llresidential user" shall mean the owner or tenant of private residential property who pays for utility service in or for said property. - Commercial or Industrial User. The term "commercial or industrial user" shall mean the owner or tenant of property used for commercial, industrial and all other purposes, who pays for utility service for said property. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Section 6-39 of the Martinsville City Code be amended so that paragraph (b) thereunder shall read as follows: - (b) In addition to the foregoing, on every domestic user of electric service the additional sum of: (1) $l.OO where the monthly electric service charges does not exceed $10.00. (2) $1.50 where the monthly electric service charge exceeds $10.00 but does not exceed $20.00. (3) $2.00 where the monthly electric service charge exceeds $20.00. (4) Where the monthly electric service is unmetered, $1.00.
