Little, Vice <br /> <br />President and General Manager of the Company, was present, with the explanation that <br /> <br />the overall increase being requested is 7.6%. It was noted that the rate increase <br /> <br />request had not been set for hearing and that official action of City Council is not <br /> <br />needed at this time. <br /> <br />Council gave its approval to the preparation of a lease agreement under the terms of <br /> <br />which the City would allow Mr. W. A. Mason to use a very narrow strip of land located <br /> <br />at the corner of Starling Avenue and Memorial Boulevard, the strip being right-of-way <br /> <br />residue as the result of the last improvements to the intersection of Memorial Boulevard <br /> <br />and Starling Avenue.
