City Manager Noland also apprised Council of the necessity of Council

being called for a special meeting, probably within the forthcoming week, to consider

formally applying for the EDA funds and establishing priorities for projects to be

funded thereby, with Council--in response to inquiry--indicating no objections to

the proceeding with an investigative study on the Mulberry Road extension project and

the obtaining of necessary purchase options.
