<br />2. Industrial-Commercial uses such as loading areas, parking areas, airport <br />landing strips. <br /> <br />3. Recreational uses such as golf courses, driving ranges, archery ranges, <br />picnic areas, boat launching ramps, parks, swimming areas, fish hatcheries, <br />wildlife preserves, game farms, target ranges, hiking and horseback trails. <br /> <br />4. Accessory residential uses. <br /> <br />5. Transportation and service uses such as streets, bridges, pipes and <br />pipelines, utilities, railroads, and public water and sewer measurement <br />and control facilities; provided, however, that all such facilities are <br />located, elevated and constructed in a manner to eliminate or minimize <br />flood damage. <br /> <br />B. Prohibited Uses: <br /> <br />The following structures and uses are hereby prohibited. <br /> <br />1. Structures designed or used for human habitation and public assembly <br />buildings, and all other permanent structures except as provided in <br />Section XIV A-5 and XVI. <br /> <br />2. The storage or processing of materials that are pollutants, buoyant, <br />flammable, poisonous, explosive or could be injurious to human, animal, <br />or plant lite ill. tLme of flooding oc that have high flood damage potential. <br /> <br />3. Garbage and waste disposal facilities including any further encroachment <br />upon the Floodway at existing sites. <br /> <br />l-.. <br /> <br />4. Recreational uses which use fencing to surround the playing area--such <br />as tennis courts or fenced ball fields. <br /> <br />5. No fill shall be allowed in the Floodway District. <br /> <br />C. Conditional Uses: <br /> <br />Conditional uses, except for those prohibited in XIV-B above, may be permitted <br />when such uses are not in conflict with the goals and requirements of this <br />/ ordinance, or other ordinances and codes of the City; however, no permanent <br />structures, fill, deposit, obstruction, storage of materials or equipment, or <br />other use will be permitted which, acting alone or in combination with existing <br />or future uses, will result significantly in affecting the capacity of the <br />F100dway or increase flood heights. <br /> <br />xv FLOODWAY FRINGE DISTRICT (F.F.) <br /> <br />A. Permitted Uses: <br /> <br />Uses listed in Section XIV-A of this ordinance subject to the conditions <br />stated in said Section. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
