The <br /> <br />Commission further noted that this resubdivision involves the south right-of-way <br /> <br />line of Pine Hall Road, an exchange of property with Mr. James R. Young, and the <br /> <br />including of a portion of the old right-of-way of Pine Hall Road in a new lot <br /> <br />formed at the intersection of Wray Street and Pine Hall Road, all to the end of <br /> <br />establishing a new right-of-way line for Pine Hall Road and the widening of same, <br /> <br />thus realigning the Pine Hall Road right-of-way at this location, Council <br /> <br />unanimously accepted the Commission's report and, in so doing, adopted the new <br /> <br />right-of-way line as well as authorized the "quit-claiming" (by deed) of <br /> <br />right-of-way no longer required. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council adopted a proposed <br /> <br />Regional Land-Use Plan (1975-2000), as submitted by the West Piedmont Planning <br /> <br />District Commission, meanwhile expressing appreciation to members of the Planning <br /> <br />Commission and other City officials for their review of the proposed plan as well <br /> <br />as for their assistance in developing said plan. In so doing, Council was advised <br /> <br />that the adopted Regional Plan incorporates the land-use element of the City's <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan (adopted by Council on April 22, 1975). <br /> <br />City Manager Noland and Assistant City Manager-Public Works Director George W. Brown <br /> <br />proposed to Council that, with the aid of Federal funds in the amount of $50,000.00, <br /> <br />the City renovate its property located at 19 South Moss Street (purchased by the <br /> <br />City in September of 1972 from the American Legion's Panni1l Post No. 42, which <br /> <br />property was formerly the Ohev Zion Synagogue) to provide an adequate facility <br />
