<br />1 C~ <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />MAY 25, 1976 <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, and pursuant to <br /> <br />recommendations of the City's administrative staff and to findings of the <br /> <br />CBD Parking Committee Study Report, Council approved--and authorized <br /> <br />execution by the Mayor on behalf of the City--a new contract or lease <br /> <br />agreement with Mrs. Lucille Andes Weaver, to become effective June 1, <br /> <br />1976 for a five-year period, by which the City will pay to Mrs. Weaver <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />the sum of $550.00 per month, plus annual real estate property taxes <br /> <br />assessed by the City in excess of $845.45 per year, for the use of her <br /> <br />property on the north side of East Main Street, consisting of some 162 <br /> <br />feet frontage along East Main Street, as a municipally-operated parking <br /> <br />lot, being the property of which a portion has been heretofore leased <br /> <br />by the City for such purpose under contract or lease agreement dated <br /> <br />January 1, 1974 and to expire December 31, 1978, now replaced by the <br /> <br />aforesaid new lease agreement. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council called for <br /> <br />a special meeting of the Council to be held Wednesday, June 2, 1976, in <br /> <br />the Council Chamber, City Hall, beginning at 7:30 P.M., for the purpose <br /> <br />of considering and studying a proposed 1976-77 City Budget, as recently <br /> <br />,,- <br /> <br />presented by City Manager Noland. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />/..,... lob' . <br />w.
