.18 TUESDAY NOVEMBER 25, 1975 registered by anyone to these proposed amendments, Council unanimously adopted the following ordinances to incorporate these amendments into the Zoning Ordinance: BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular meeting assembled this twenty-fifth day of November, 1975, that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Martinsville be--and is hereby--amended, as follows: (SECTION II. DEFINITIONS) (Between "Frontage" and IIGuest House" the following shall be inserted:) Gross building area. The total land area covered by a building or by buildings multiplied by the number of stories of the building or buildings, exclusive of any interior mall pedestrian traffic areas and exterior covered walkways but including such sales cubicles as may be constructed at any time in such interior mall traffic-ways. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular meeting assembled this twenty-fifth day of November, 1975, that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Martinsville be--and is hereby--amended, as follows: (SECTION II. DEFINITIONS) (Between "Lot, through" and "Marquee" the following shall be inserted:) Mall, interior. A common pedestrian traffic area serving more than two commercial enterprises and being fully enclosed and under roof. Mall, exterior. A common pedestrian area from which all vehicular traffic is excluded and which mayor may not be fully or partially under roof. (Between "Service station" and "Sign" the following shall be inserted:) Shopping center.
