<br />11 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 25, 1975 <br /> <br />",,-- <br /> <br />Permit initially granted August 22, 1972 to allow for construction of a proposed <br /> <br />apartment complex on a tract of land consisting of approximately 9.65 acres, <br /> <br />situated on the north side of Spruce Street opposite the intersections of <br /> <br />said Spruce Street with Auburn Place and Prospect Hill Drive. There being <br /> <br />no objections registered to the requested re-issuance of said permit, and <br /> <br />pursuant to the Planning Commission's recommendations thereon submitted under <br /> <br />date of October 24, 1975, Council directed that said Special-Use Permit be <br /> <br />re-issued, contingent upon the same conditions and the usage of the same <br /> <br />plans as those under which the initial permit was issued (on August 22, 1972), <br /> <br />and with the additional proviso that said re-issued permit shall remain in force <br /> <br />for a period of eighteen (18) months from date of November 25, 1975. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Pursuant to duly-advertised public notice, Council conducted a Public Hearing <br /> <br />on a proposed Erosion & Sediment Control Ordinance for the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br />as revised by recent action of the Council. There being no objections to said <br /> <br />proposed ordinance, Council unanimously adopted same, as revised, to become <br /> <br />effective at midnight on December 31, 1975. A copy of this ordinance is <br /> <br />inserted separately in these minutes. <br /> <br />...- <br /> <br />Also, pursuant to duly-advertised public notice, Council conducted a Public <br /> <br />Hearing on proposed amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance, as recommended <br /> <br />by the Planning Commission and introduced at Council's October 14th (1975) <br /> <br />meeting, viz., by the additions to Section II and Section IX of said ordinance <br /> <br />to provide definitions and certain specifications pertaining to shopping malls <br /> <br />and off-street parking within shopping mall areas.
