Council referred this petition to the Planning Commission <br /> <br />for its consideration and recommendation. <br /> <br />Mr. Rudy Utt, owner-operator of an upholstery business located at 334 Memorial <br /> <br />Boulevard, brought to Council's attention a traffic problem and hazard involving <br /> <br />his customer traffic from his place of business into Memorial Boulevard. Council <br /> <br />suggested that Mr. Utt present this matter to the Highway Safety Commission at its <br /> <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Upon inquiry, Assistant City Manager-Public Works Director George W. Brown <br /> <br />informed Council that study is being given to providing "back-door" refuse <br /> <br />collection pick-up service for physically-disabled citizens, as an exception to <br /> <br />recently-authorized regulations requiring citizens to place their refuse-garbage <br /> <br />at the curbs of their residences. <br /> <br />Mr. Thomas J. Womack, 200 Fourth Street, commended the Council on its <br /> <br />deliberations and action on the 1975-76 City Budget. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />} ,~ ~, >.>; <br /> <br />W.
