As you <br />know, this propm:;itjon has been under r'.~yiew for some time, with action <br />deferred until certain proposed capital improvement costs (primarily in the <br />UDAG water project) could be determined. With certmn tentative decisions <br />ha,,ring now been made as to these costs, the fiseal picture in the water <br />and sewer funds is as follows. <br /> <br />WA TER FUND OPERATIONS <br /> <br />Revenue Situation <br />-.----fTle.-W-ater-F~und enjoys a variety of revenue sources., principal of <br />which is the sale of treated water to residential and commerical customers. <br />Of all Water Fund revenue., 91% presently is derived from wator sales. <br /> <br />The current rate structure was adopted February 23, 19'i1, and has <br />gone unchanged now for over nine years during the VlOrst inflationary <br />Emes in our countl'y's recent history.
