:8

TUESDAY

JULY 22, 1980

The City Planning Commission shall consist of nine
(9) members, who shall be appointed by the City
Council.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by said Council that an emergency
exists and that this ordinance shall be effective on and
after July 22, 1980.

Council called for a special meeting to be conducted by Council in the Council

Chamber, Tuesday, July 29, 1980, beginning at 1:00 P.M., for the purpose of being

briefed by the City's bond counsel and financial advisors on matters pertaining to

the City's proposed Ridgeway hydro-electric project.

Mrs. Katherine Adams, of 317 Clearview Drive, in person informed Council that the City's

Electric Department installed an electric demand meter approximately one year ago for

electric service to her premises at 317 Clearview Drive and placed this service,

without first informing her of her two options under the City's applicable electric

tariff, under a commercial-type rate because she uses an attached and converted

carport for commercial sewing-alteration activities. Council referred this matter to

City Manager Edmonds.

Council was adjourned.

')
w. ~~>?~~>ci~rk

of Council
