As to the amended site suggestion for the water storage facility, <br /> <br />Dr. John R. Smith and Dr. F. U. Baublitz, through Mr. J. Randolph Smith, Attorney at <br /> <br />Law and counsel for Dr. Smith, concurred therewith. Upon motion, duly seconded and <br /> <br />unanimously carried, Council called for a resumption at its forthcoming July 22nd <br /> <br />meeting of the public hearing conducted at Council's May 27th meeting on the City's <br /> <br />application for a Special-Use Permit to allow for the construction of a water storage <br /> <br />facility on one of the three sites considered at said May 27th meeting. Council also <br /> <br />asked that additional and pertinent information on said Site No.2, including the <br /> <br />adjoining lot, be presented at said July 22nd meeting. The record notes that Messrs. <br /> <br />Garland Page and Tom Crush, of Wiley & Wilson, the City's consulting engineers for water- <br /> <br />sewer projects, were present and provided technical information to Council on various <br /> <br />facets of the UDAG Water Project program as well as concurred in City Manager Edmonds' <br /> <br />recommendations thereon. <br /> <br />City Manager Edmonds reported that he has received no complaints indicating that <br /> <br />objectionable odors are now emanating from the City's Water Pollution Control (Sewage <br /> <br />Treatment) Plant; and, also, that a report prepared by Wiley & Wilson and a report <br /> <br />from an independent consultant (on a proposed sewage treatment expansion and on the <br /> <br />present plant's design and operating procedures, respectively) should be available to <br /> <br />Council at its forthcoming July 22nd meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert N. Crockett, of 1007 Mountain Road, appeared before Council and expressed his <br /> <br />opinions on such matters as the 1979-80 tax rebate, special tax treatment, and proposed <br />
