<br />-h <br />a <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 28, 1978 <br /> <br />Charter, pursuant to said resolution and/or by an alternative means) until its 1980 <br /> <br />session will not interfere with the hydro-electric project schedule, if undertaken. <br /> <br />In tentative acceptance of the Planning Commission's recommendations (of approval), <br /> <br />Council called for duly-advertised public hearings to be conducted at Council's <br /> <br />forthcoming December 12th meeting on the following matters: <br /> <br />(1) Mr. Morton W. Lester's Application for a Special-Use Permit~ as filed <br /> <br />with Council on October 10, 1978, to allow for a twelve-unit addition <br /> <br />to Mr. Lester's apartment complex on the west side of Randolph Street; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />(2) a petition filed by Messrs. Leon W. Haynes and Edward T. Conner~ also on <br /> <br />October 10th~ seeking a "p_2 Professional" zoning classification for <br /> <br />petitioner's property at 705 Starling Avenue. <br /> <br />Also~ upon the Planning Commission's recommendationsJ Council granted the following <br /> <br />requests (for): <br /> <br />(1) a modification of a Special-Use Permit, as issued October 25~ 1977 to <br /> <br />Garrett Wells & Associates for this firm's Candlewyck Apartment complex~ <br /> <br />outside of the City along Chatham Heights; and <br /> <br />(2) water service (domestic and fire protection) for a proposed building <br /> <br />to be constructed and owned by Frith Construction Company, Inc., in the <br /> <br />City's Industrial Park Area, subject to compliance with the City's <br /> <br />"M-3 Industrial" zoning claf:fsification. <br /> <br />With reference to this latter matter and/or request~ it was noted that the Henry <br /> <br />County Public Service Authority has indicated some interest in providing water <br /> <br />service for the entire Industrial Park area; however~ in the absence of any agree- <br /> <br />ment between the City and the PSA thereon and because of the proximity of the City's <br /> <br />water main (within ten feet of the proposed facility) and because the City is <br />
