Randolph Wells, of Garrett <br /> <br />Wells & Associates, and pertained to Candlewyck Apartments and water service <br /> <br />therefor. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of Councilman Oakes~ Council directed that a resolution be <br /> <br />prepared for Council's consideration whereby and wherein Council would extend to <br /> <br />the Henry County Board of Supervisors an invitation to meet jointly and periodically <br /> <br />with Council in order that both governing bodies might share mutual concerns~ ideas, <br /> <br />knowledge and planning to the end that the on-going developments within the two <br /> <br />political subdivisions can progress in the most orderly manner for the benefit of <br /> <br />all citizens therein, <br /> <br />Council was informed that a seminar will be held (November 1st~ 2nd~ and 3rd in <br /> <br />Roanoke, Virginia) for members of the Project Team of the joint City-County Clean <br /> <br />Community System. Council was also informed of the resignation from the Project <br /> <br />Team of Mr. J. Ronald Ferrill. <br /> <br />With reference to the recently authorized filing of a listing of the City's con- <br /> <br />templated capital outlay projects with the West Piedmont Planning District Commission~ <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Cole cited the need for a more complete and more comprehensive listing of <br /> <br />such projects to which Council might give study. <br /> <br />Prompted by a letter of inquiry from Mr. Ronald Brugge~ of 1911 Dundee Lane, Council <br /> <br />asked that a report be submitted to Council at its next regular meeting on the City's <br /> <br />procedure(s) for collecting delinquent property taxes as well as on the amount(s) of <br /> <br />such taxes outstanding and due the City. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br />W. ~~'~~ca~~ ~"Clerk <br />') <br /> <br />of Council <br />
