Greene, Realtor, to membership

on the City Planning Commission for the unexpired term (ending June 30, 1982) of the

late R. Jack Dandridge.

Council referred to the Planning Commission, for its consideration and recommendation, a

petition filed by Messrs. Leon W. Haynes and Edward T. Conner, seeking the rezoning of

their property situated at 705 Starling Avenue (formerly the T. C. Matthews homeplace

and, later, the property of Mrs. Grace S. White) to "P-2 Professional".

Council also referred to the Planning Commission, for its consideration and recommendation,

an Application for a Special-Use Permit, as filed by Mr. Morton W. Lester, seeking

permission to construct a l2-unit apartment addition to his present apartment complex on

the west side of Randolph Street.

Council continued for further consideration a suggestion that the City's Business & Occupational

License Tax Ordinance be amended to the extent that the City's license tax fee on "fortune

tellers", etc., be made the same as is currently imposed by Henry County.

Council also continued for further consideration the written proposal, as filed by Emam

Qiblah Khan, that Council name the City Park as the "J. Frank Wilson Memorial Park" in

memory and honor of the late J.
