<br />~. 0 <br /> <br />TUESDAY JANUARY 12. 1982 <br /> <br />(iii) For a Class 3 misde~or, a fine of not more <br />than five hundred do~lars. <br /> <br />(Iv) For a Class 4 misdemeanor, a fine of not more <br />than one hundred dollars. <br /> <br />(c) Whenever a violation is specified as a traffic infraction, <br />the authorized punishment for a conviction therefor shall <br />be a fine of not more than one hundred dollars. <br /> <br />(d) whenever it is provided that a violation is a misdemeanor <br />and no class is specified or that it is punishable as <br />provided for in Section 1-6, the violation shall be <br />punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />(e) Whenever a specific punishment is prescribed for a <br />violation, such a violation shall be punished accordingly. <br /> <br />(f) Any viQIation for which no punishment or no maximum <br />punishment is prescribed shall be punishable as a <br />Class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />(g) Unless otherwise provided, each day any violation of this <br />Code or any ordinance, rule, regulation, or order shall <br />continue shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br />(h) In addition to any penalty imposed for the violation of <br />any ordinance, the city may enjoin the continuing <br />violation thereof by proceedings for an injunction <br />brought in any court having jurisdiction to grant <br />injunctive relief. <br /> <br />Sec. 1-7. <br /> <br />District Court Costs and Fees Generally. <br /> <br />The district courts for the city shall in the matter of taxing <br />costs and filing fees on city ordinance violations follow the <br />same procedure as that prescribed by state law for state law <br />violations, and the clerk of the circuit court shall be <br />entitled to the same fees in respect to such violations and <br />shall follow the same procedure in respect to filing, <br />docketing, indexing, etc., any warrants, summonses, or papers <br />evidencing such violations as is required in the matter of <br />the same evidencing state violations. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 2. <br />ADMINISTRATIO N. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-3. <br /> <br />Ci ty Li brarv . <br />(Omi t entirelu) <br />
