<br />,""..C <br />~ C) <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1981 <br /> <br />and Mr. Howard Lenderking, of 1118 Corn Tassel Trail. <br /> <br />Pursuant to Sections 2.1-344(a)(1) and 2.1-344(a)(6) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br /> <br />and as amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried by a re- <br /> <br />corded vote, Council convened into an Executive Session for the purposes of <br /> <br />(1) considering the names of citizens for appointment and/or reappointment to the <br /> <br />City's Industrial Development Authority and (2) being briefed by City Attorney <br /> <br />Worthy on certain legal matters, including a proposed ordinance which would impose <br /> <br />all of the restrictions and conditions contained in Condition 2 of the Water <br /> <br />Resources Conservation Plan introduced at Council's July 28th meeting. <br /> <br />Upon reconvening into regular session, Council unanimously reappointed Messrs. <br /> <br />Thomas J. Burch and Joseph W. Pritchett to the City's Industrial Development <br /> <br />Authority for four-year terms beginning September 26, 1981; and, noting the positive <br /> <br />effects of recent water conservation on the part of the public as well as from rains <br /> <br />on September 3rd-4th, Council deferred action on--and continued for coU/sideration <br /> <br />at its forthcoming September 29th meeting--the proposed ordinance to put into effect <br /> <br />Condition 2 of the aforesaid Water Resources Conservation Plan. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />, Clerk of Council <br />
