TUESDAY APRIL 14, 1981 amended, be--and the same hereby is--amended by adding thereto, immediately after the words "annual license tax" the following words, "of $25.00 or, if greater," and by adding immediately after the words "Other retail stores and retail merchants" the following words, "including vendors in flea markets except those vendors dealing exclusively in second-hand items from their own homes". Also, on second reading, council unanimously adopted (by reference) the 1981 BOCA Plumbing Code as well as (by reference) an ordinance updating and/or revising the City's administrative provisions therefor, being in lieu of Chapter 1 of the BOCA Code. On second reading, too, Council unanimously adopted (by reference) the 1981 National Electrical Code as well as (py reference) an ordinance updating and/or revising the City's administrative provisions therefor. Council unanimously placed on first reading an ordinance which would impose and/or assess an interest rate of 10% on delinquent business license taxes. Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council scheduled and/or re-scheduled the following forthcoming meetings: (1) cancelled Council's regular meeting scheduled for April 28th; (2) called for a special meeting on Monday, April 20th, beginning at 3:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, to consider with the City School Board its recommended 1981-82 budget; (3) called for a special meeting on Tuesday, May 5th, beginning at 1:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, to consider further the City Manager's proposed 1981-82 City Budget; (4) scheduled a special meeting with the Henry County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, May 5th, beginning at 7;30 P.M., at the Henry County Administration Building; and ..~------''''
