<br />;.... ,. <br />,-,0 ~.) <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />APRIL 14, 1981 <br /> <br />amended, be--and the same hereby is--amended by adding thereto, immediately <br />after the words "annual license tax" the following words, "of $25.00 or, if <br />greater," and by adding immediately after the words "Other retail stores <br />and retail merchants" the following words, "including vendors in flea <br />markets except those vendors dealing exclusively in second-hand items from <br />their own homes". <br /> <br />Also, on second reading, council unanimously adopted (by reference) the 1981 BOCA <br /> <br />Plumbing Code as well as (by reference) an ordinance updating and/or revising the <br /> <br />City's administrative provisions therefor, being in lieu of Chapter 1 of the BOCA <br /> <br />Code. <br /> <br />On second reading, too, Council unanimously adopted (by reference) the 1981 <br /> <br />National Electrical Code as well as (py reference) an ordinance updating and/or <br /> <br />revising the City's administrative provisions therefor. <br /> <br />Council unanimously placed on first reading an ordinance which would impose and/or <br /> <br />assess an interest rate of 10% on delinquent business license taxes. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council scheduled and/or <br /> <br />re-scheduled the following forthcoming meetings: <br /> <br />(1) cancelled Council's regular meeting scheduled for April 28th; <br /> <br />(2) called for a special meeting on Monday, April 20th, beginning at <br /> <br />3:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, to consider with the City School <br /> <br />Board its recommended 1981-82 budget; <br /> <br />(3) called for a special meeting on Tuesday, May 5th, beginning at 1:30 P.M., <br /> <br />in the Council Chamber, to consider further the City Manager's proposed <br /> <br />1981-82 City Budget; <br /> <br />(4) scheduled a special meeting with the Henry County Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />on Tuesday, May 5th, beginning at 7;30 P.M., at the Henry County <br /> <br />Administration Building; and <br /> <br />..~------'''' <br />
