<br />.2 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 8, 1983 <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Manager of Martinsville Cablevision. <br /> <br />Health Department, and Mr. William Anas, who recently succeeded Mr. Charles Robbins as <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council approved--as recorded--the <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />wherein the record is to reflect Vice-Mayor Oakes' vote against changing employee bene- <br /> <br />minutes of its regular meeting held October 25, 1983, subject to a correction therein, <br /> <br />fits under the City's employee group insurance plan. <br /> <br />Pursuant to duly-advertised public notice, Council conducted a public hearing on Mr. <br /> <br />from "R-6 Residential" to "P-2 Professional". There being no objections registered <br /> <br />James M. Wilson's petition seeking the rezoning of Lot No. 28, at 802 Starling Avenue, <br /> <br />duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council accepted the Planning Commission's <br /> <br />against this petition, Mayor Cole declared the public hearing closed; whereupon motion, <br /> <br />ordinance amending the City's Zoning Map accordingly: <br /> <br />recommendation that the petition be granted and, in so doing, adopted the following <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, <br />in regular meeting assembled this eighth day of November, 1983, that <br />the Zoning Map of the City of Martinsville be--and is hereby--amended <br />to reclassify from "R-6 Residential" to P-2 Professional" that <br />certain property located at 802 Starling Avenue and identified as Lot <br />No. 28, Section 42 (double-circle 13), of the Tax Map of the City of <br />Martinsville, Virginia. <br /> <br />An emergency existing, this ordinance shall be in force on and after <br />November 9, 1983. <br /> <br />In tentative acceptance of the Planning Commission's recommendations that the following <br /> <br />thereon at Council's forthcoming November 22nd meeting: <br /> <br />requests be granted, Council called for duly-advertised public hearings to be conducted <br /> <br />A. A request from Harry B.
