<br />is <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 13, 1983 <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and carried by a recorded and unanimous vote, and pursuant <br /> <br />to Sections 2.1-344(a)(2) and 2.1-344(a)(6) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as <br /> <br />amended), Council convened into an Executive Session to (1) consider the acquisition of <br /> <br />certain property and/or the disposal of certain publicly-held property and (2) consider <br /> <br />a matter involving potential litigation. Upon reconvening into regular session, Council <br /> <br />took no action on the foregoing potential litigation matter but, upon motion, duly <br /> <br />,'-', <br /> <br />seconded and unanimously carried, authorized the purchase of two lots, situated at or <br /> <br />near the intersection of Finley Street with Spruce Street, from Mrs. Agnes M. Davis for <br /> <br />the total sumof $9,000.00, which lots will be used for the realignment of Finley Street <br /> <br />at said intersection in conjunction with the authorized Spruce Street Project. <br /> <br />Mayor Cole then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />),\ <br />W.
