Williams, of 607 First Street, who <br />asked that lay-citizens be given access to the <br />Transportation Study-Plan draft and (who) ex- <br />pressed displeasure with the current traffic <br />conditions as the intersection of Fayette Street- <br />Church Street-Memorial Boulevard; and <br /> <br />5. Mr. Robert S. Johnson, of 1611 Yorkshire Road, who <br />advocated improved sight improvements for motor <br />vehicles entering Pine Hall Road from Yorkshire Road. <br /> <br />Mr. George Robinson, who recently moved to the Horsepasture area from Texas, appeared <br /> <br />before Council and recommended that consideration be given to new methods for solid waste <br /> <br />disposal, such as already are in operation in the southwest portion of the United States <br /> <br />and are reportedly self-supporting ventures in that solid waste, with minimal residue, is <br /> <br />converted into the generation of electric energy. <br /> <br />Council unanimously accepted the Planning Commission's recommendation (submitted under <br /> <br />date of July 22, 1983) that a presently-unnamed street, situated on the souths ide of <br /> <br />Fishel Road and adjacent to the City's Central Warehouse complex, be designated as <br /> <br />"Fishel Trail". <br /> <br />Mayor Cole then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />')~'v~----.~,,~~ <br />W.
