<br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />:) <br /> <br />JULY 10,1984 <br /> <br />It is further recommended that the 30% benefit be awarded for no more <br />than thirteen consecutive weeks in conjunction with one absence, with <br />a maximum of thirteen weeks in any 52-week period. In order to qualify <br />for this benefit, an employee must have a minimum of six months Con- <br />tinuous service at the time "Approved Leave of Absence Without Pay" be- <br />gins; and, a certification from the attending physician, that the <br />employee was too ill or disabled to work, would be required. <br /> <br />After Some discussion, and Councilman Williams' query pertaining to medical-and-other <br /> <br />insurance coverages provided both the City and the City School personnel, Council unani- <br /> <br />modified plan be placed in effect. <br /> <br />mously accepted City Manager Edmonds' foregoing recommendations and directed that the <br /> <br />the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended), and Upon motion, duly seconded and unani- <br /> <br />In accordance with the requirements of sub-sections (5) and (6) of Section 2.1-344(a) of <br /> <br />poses of (1) being briefed by legal counsel on matters which could involve litigation and <br /> <br />mously carried by a recorded vote, Council convened into an Executive Session for the pur- <br /> <br />(2) the investing of public funds.
