<br />TUESDAY, JULY 9, 1985 <br /> <br />Council unanimously approved the minutes of the regular meeting held June <br /> <br />25, 1985, as submitted. <br /> <br />There being no business from the floor, Mayor Cole proceeded with the <br /> <br />prepared agenda. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Councilman Oakes, seconded by Vice-Mayor Severt, and <br /> <br />unanimously carried, Council set a public hearing for July 23, 1985, on a <br /> <br />request by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moore for the abandonment of the unimproved <br /> <br />section of the Clift Street right-of-way situated between Cole and Paul <br /> <br />Streets. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Councilman Oakes, seconded by Councilman Williams, and <br /> <br />unanimously carried, Council accepted the Planning Commission's recommend- <br /> <br />ations to grant a request by Paul Kilby for extension of the City's water <br /> <br />service to an apartment building in the County fronting Summit View Drive <br /> <br />(State Route 917) in the Woodland Heights Subdivision provided restrictive <br /> <br />deed covenants were established conforming with the requirements of the <br /> <br />City's R-9 Residential zoning; and further that a blanket covenant for the <br /> <br />remainder of the residential area in the Woodland Heights Subdivision <br /> <br />wherein a water extension is requested conform with the requirements of <br /> <br />the City's R-9 Residential zoning. This blanket covenant would apply to <br /> <br />the entire Woodland Heights Subdivision with the exception of the <br /> <br />generally commercial area situated on both sides of Route 57 between Route <br /> <br />662 (Clearview Drive) and Route 717 (Roundhill Drive) and also property <br /> <br /> <br />situated on the north side of Route 57 from (and including) the existing <br /> <br /> <br />V.F.W. Hall property to the east boundary of the water service area. <br /> <br />61T <br />
