<br />94 <br /> <br />TUESDAY MAY 14, 1985 <br /> <br />City's utility tax rates compare with the County's proposed rates of <br /> <br />20% of first $15.00 for residential users and 20% of first $15.00 <br /> <br />plus 5% of balance of bill over $15.00 for commercial/industrial <br /> <br />users. <br /> <br />Councilman <br /> <br />Oakes <br /> <br />expressed <br /> <br />his <br /> <br />appreciation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Administration's cooperation with Henry County during their recent <br /> <br />water shortage in Collinsville. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the requirements of Section 2.1-344 (subsections a-I and <br /> <br />a-6) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended), and upon motion, <br /> <br />duly seconded and unanimously carried by a recorded vote, Council <br /> <br />convened into an Executive Session for the purposes <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />(l) , <br /> <br />considering an appointment to the Piedmont <br /> <br />Regional Community <br /> <br />Services Board, (2) considering renaming of Clearview Park, and (3) <br /> <br />considering contractural matters under the jurisdiction of the City <br /> <br />Council. <br /> <br />action. <br /> <br />Upon reconvening into regular session, Council took no <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Severt then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />of Council <br />
