<br />110'l <br />I.:t .. lJ <br /> <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 1986 <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />an additional amount of $11,000.00 authorized for the Martinsville Junior High <br /> <br />School building, plus architect's fee of $4,653.00, all of which will be con- <br /> <br />siderably less than the total initial estimate of $880,000.00. <br /> <br />After some brief comments and "closing" remarks by members of Council, and <br /> <br />pursuant to the requirements of Section 2.1-344 of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />and as amended) and upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried by a <br /> <br />recorded vote, Council convened (with the School Board) into an Executive <br /> <br />Session for the purpose of discussing a contractual matter. At the conclusion <br /> <br />of this Executive Session, Council reconvened into regular session but took no <br /> <br />action on the matter discussed in Executive Session. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes then declared this special meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />W.:.-~~~~:k of Council <br />
