Marlowe <br /> <br />Senior Labor Supervisor <br />Water Resources Department <br /> <br />Mary Hill Martin* <br /> <br />Librarian/Bookmobile Driver <br />Blue Ridge Regional Library <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously carried, Council approved the minutes of <br /> <br />its regular meeting held April 22, 1986, and of its special budget work-session <br /> <br />meetings held April 17, 1986, April 22, 1986, and April 28, 1986. <br /> <br />Pursuant to duly-published notice, Council conducted a public hearing on Mr. James <br /> <br />M. Wilson's recent petition--previously recommended for Council's approval by the <br /> <br />Martinsville Planning Commission--seeking the rezoning of that certain property <br /> <br />identified as Lot No. 11 located at 701 Starling Avenue from R-6 Residential to P-2 <br /> <br />Professional. There being no objections registered by anyone to the petition, Mayor <br /> <br />Cole then declared the public hearing closed; whereupon motion, duly seconded and <br /> <br />unanimously carried, Council accepted the Planning Commission's recommendation in <br /> <br />this matter and, by the following ordinance duly adopted, amended the City's Zoning <br /> <br />Map to effect and reflect said rezoning: <br />
