Oakes presiding, was held Tuesday, January 13, 1987, in the Council <br /> <br />Chamber, City Hall, beginning at 7:30 P.M. All members were present, viz., L. D. <br /> <br />Oakes, Mayor; Clyde L. Williams, Vice-Mayor; William C. Cole, Jr.; and Alfred T. <br /> <br />Groden; and Allan McClain. <br /> <br />After the invocation and Mayor Oakes' cordial welcome to visitors present, <br /> <br />Council--through Mayor Oakes--recognized the following citizens for their community <br /> <br />service through membership on the following boards and/or commissions, for the years <br /> <br />shown, and presented to those former members present (denoted by asterisk) tokens of <br /> <br />Council's appreciation of their service while members of these agencies: <br /> <br />BARBARA E.
