<br /> <br />NEXT STEPS <br /> <br />1. Tyler sends Retreat Report and Dan distributes it to the Council Members. <br /> <br />2. Communicate Council's Vision as follows: <br /> <br />· Present Vision at the work session (and it will air continuously on cable TV) <br /> <br />· With the help of the City's Communications Officer, develop a Vision campaign to share it with <br />stakeholders <br /> <br />· Use opportunities that we have to present the Vision to citizens (i.e. community meetings such as <br />Rotary) <br /> <br />· Have a joint meeting between Council and staff to share/focus on the Vision <br /> <br />3. Institutionalize the Vision in practice/visually <br /> <br />· Put it in the front of the agenda packet <br /> <br />· Put printed version (all/components) on cable show so that citizens see it <br /> <br />4. Have a work session to align the Vision and the goals with data from the staff <br /> <br />5. Move forward with the quarterly Vision Progress Report <br /> <br />6. Develop a Performance Evaluation for the City Manager to reflect the Vision, Goals, and Operating <br />Guidelines (Kimble will initiate and coordinate with the City Council) <br /> <br />7. Each Member of the Council and the City manager will take personal responsibility for using and <br />reinforcing the Operating Guidelines. <br /> <br />8.
