<br />June 5, 2006 <br /> <br />Helen Butler of Brain Injury Services of SWV A spoke concerning their <br /> <br /> <br />first-time request for funding of $1,435, indicating that they had received some <br /> <br /> <br />calls about their services from individuals in the West Piedmont Planning <br /> <br />District Commission area and would like to set up an office of case <br /> <br />management in our area. She indicated they were also requesting support <br /> <br /> <br />from the other localities in the planning area. <br /> <br /> <br />The Mayor thanked those who spoke and closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Vice-Mayor Reynolds indicated that he would like to see us show support <br /> <br /> <br />of Pittsylvania County Community Action by putting something back into the <br /> <br /> <br />budget. City Manager Dan Collins indicated that the $3,750 amount budgeted <br /> <br /> <br />last year would be restored. <br /> <br /> <br />After further comments from the Mayor and other Council Members, <br /> <br /> <br />Council proceeded to approve the ordinances relating to the FY07 budget on <br /> <br />first reading. <br /> <br />Council Member Ferrill moved to adopt Ordinance No. 2006-4, on first <br /> <br />reading; amending Appendix A of the City's Terms and Conditions for Electric <br /> <br />Service, the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following roll-call vote, <br /> <br />all members voting: Vote: 5-0. Yeas: (5) - Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, <br /> <br />Clark. Nays: (0)- None. <br />Vice Mayor Reynolds moved to adopt Ordinance No. 2006-5, on first <br /> <br /> <br />reading; amending Appendix A -Schedule of Water and Sewer Service Rates of <br /> <br /> <br />the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service, the motion was <br />
