Council Member <br /> <br />Ferrill moved to approve the following Ordinance, on second reading; the <br /> <br />motion was duly seconded and carried by the following roll call vote, all <br /> <br />members voting: Vote: 5-0. Yeas: (5) Cobbe, Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. <br /> <br />Nays: (0) None. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE <br /> <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP <br /> <br />CITY OF MARTINSVILLE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular session assembled <br />February 28, 2006, that in order to assure compliance with Virginia Code Section 15.1-491 (g), it is stated <br />that the public purpose for which this Ordinance is initiated is to fulfill the requirements of public <br />necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice, that the Zoning Map of the City of <br />Martinsville, Virginia, ben and is hereby -- amended to the extent that 1220 S. Memorial Boulevard, <br />known as 50(08)00/02, 03A on the Zoning Map of the City of Martinsville, is hereby rezoned from C-3 <br />Commercial to M-2 Industrial. <br /> <br />Council next considered the adoption, on second reading, of Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 2006-1 amending Appendix D-2-Schedule of Connection Charges of the <br />
